Xcels Zipper system for the XZIP2 uses their Interlock zipper on front outer flap. A snap lock and zipper flaps keep this zipper in place and protected. The smoothskin shoulder hem with built in elasticity keeps the stretch around the zipper to provide full movement. 
The crossover neck entry makes this suit an easy one to get on and off. The face seal has a pull cord and barrel lock for best fit of the hood. The chin protector can be worn inside or out.

The Xzip2 Seams feature High Density Fusion Seams in the front chest area, Fusion Seal gripper tape on wrists, Taitex seam on ankle, ultrastretch sealed seams, and pressure bonded seams. All of these seams are double glued, blindstitched, and curved for maximum stretch and flexibility. 

Xcels seam method results in less seams across the suit which equal more stretch in the neoprene giving the surfer a flexible suit that doesnt constrict movement and provides protection against cold water.
