The purpose of the Olas Surfing Book Series is to promote surfing, reading and parent-child bonding.

Surf Tricks is designed to help children visualize different surf moves and acquaint them with surf terminology. By visualizing at an early age, they develop confidence, comfort and familiarity with surfing. Readers progress through different maneuvers and enhance their understanding of the sport.

Research shows that professional athletes who visualize before competition improve their performance over those who do not. Visualizing is the first step in accomplishing anything that takes time and dedication.

By sharing this book with children, you encourage them to read and by reading together, you teach them through example. Plant the seed of reading.
